Some of the charity stuff we’ve done. If you have a project you think we might be able to help you with, feel free to get in touch.
- Strathcarron Hospice – 2012, £100 donation in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards.
- Laff off Stigma – 2011, Waverley Care’s Fringe based awareness drive for their HIV and Hepatitis C support charity. I provided hosting during the festival and implemented the web page for the site, as well as creating the ‘Wall of Tweeters’ using Google App Engine.
- SWIWSCO – 2009-2010, a Tanzanian licensed NGO dedicated to improving the lives of Women and orphaned children. I hosted a simple WordPress setup on my Linux VM.
- The Tumaini Project – 2009-2014, the Tumaini Project was set up in 2009 by Emma Paton, a university student from Scotland with the goal of raising money for a school in Northern Tanzania. A Wordpress installation hosted on my Linux VM and creation and configuration of Google Apps for Business to support the effort.
Kind thanks to Bytemark, my Linux VM hosts who gave me a free upgrade because of my charity site hosting.
